1901 pocket watch and what to do

I inherited a 1901 IWC pocket watch and have the following info:

14KT IWC stamped on case w/#255521; the movement is unmarked and unbranded w/ #238903.

It is not in working order and I have been told by a trusted watch repairer that it would take a lot of work and expense to get it working.

I would appreciate any advice. We would like to sell it as is. Ebay? other venue? I know that this is not a forum for selling and that is not my intent.
