Didn't have the watch with me so couldn't add comments then.
Bought this watch from a seller in 1999.
Started collecting vintage watches in 1998 so knew nothing about s & co,
peerless etc then. Bought it because I purchased a Rolco from the same
seller and the watch looked good and he seemed trustworthy.
This is the 2nd IWC watch I bought. First being a 3521 which I since sold.
If I remember correctly, seller did show hallmarks of S & Co. I did not keep
the pics and now I don't know how to open the case. If it is indeed a true
100 years old watch, don't want to pry it open. If there is clear advice on
how to open it, can give it a try.
Took the pics with my mobile so may see reflections of the mobile and my
fingers on the watch.
