My 1947 CALIBRE 63 has been damaged when I was recently assaulted by a thug in Mayfair.
The movement is sliding about in the case, because the shock of the punches to my face was so great, that the screws that hold the movement in place were shaken loose, stripping the threads.
I guess that new threads will have to be tapped into the movement and new screws inserted?
The Police need an estimate of the cost of this asap.
I can send it to the factory for an estimate and the work, but this will take months and the police and my lawyers need to move quickly.
