I am thinking about buying an Aquatimer, the 356811.
Recently I read that the Aquatimers will come in new design and maybe also new models next year. True or not??
I really like the "clean" AT with the white dial and black rubber strap.

Can anyone who has followed IWC for some time tell me if the alleged changes next year probably result in something quite different compared to the ones we see today? The only change I kind of hope for would be to see an AT not so big, like with a diameter +- 41 mm.

    Thanks!

Yes, SIHH next January will be the year of the AT as I understand it. We will not have many clues on whats in store until IWC releases the info, which is often done here on the Forum first.

I don't think people can tell you anything...

...but I heard if you liked external rotating bezel instead of internal ones... perhaps now would be a good time to get a current model of Aquatimer...

Agree looking forward to 2014 Aquatimer release. Would be good to good to see one with a smaller diameter as well

Ah, sorry for my possiblecross post - I had not found this page throught the search of articles i did early.

I have seen the invitation psoted on the internet with a giant ocean image - looks very nice - so very likely new aquatimers (which interest me the most). I look forward to more information on here!

I've checked and the info about 2014 being a Da Vinci year is incorrect. Sorry --just another Internet rumor!

To tell the truth I like the all-blue dial too. Nicest among the blue dial AT-s ever.

I've got to admit I do like the Black/Yellow combination too...

But the older Blue/Orange was also nice

However the Blue/White is something different not as outstanding as the other 2 combination but still good..
