Well it does not surprise me...seems that someone bought a CF3 and changed his mind or was tempted by another watch....
Some CF1 came into the 2 market as well- although not that soon after Release
Happy Easter days

I suppose it was inevitable because there always seems to be "that guy." It is the one watch in my small collection with which I would never part.
With all due respect, I think we should not judge "that guy" that much. We never know the reasons behind he trying to sell it, neither how much it meant to him when he purchased it. Life is full of surprises, and one day we may have to let go things we cared about the most.
Anyhow, if the price is good, it's a great opportunity for another collector to own a magnificent timepiece.
I went to look but didn't see it. Perhaps it sold.
Not the first one I've seen offered in the aftermarket. Perhaps inevitable - not everyone is, or stays, as passionate as many of us are, and a number of them were sold to newbies or people with little or no connection to this Forum.
I agree with Jim - this will certainly be one of the last I would sell. Its ultimate fate is likely to be decided by my heirs.
Point well taken, my response was overly judgemental.
The LE run at 250 inevitably means that many will have been bought by "non-collectors". New watches often get sold on within weeks of being released. I don't quite understand the practice. A watch purchase, as far as my resources go, is not to be taken lightly and I never buy with the intention to sell on. Nevertheless, I would not criticise those who do sell a new watch, as I have taken advantage of such offers as a buyer.
... never meant to judge or criticise anybody for selling his watch, although like Jim I never would part with my CF3. But if I should be forced to, I never would put it on Chrono24 for this low price.
But you guys are right, when you say it´s a great advantage for the next owner ... this perspective leaves me passably pleased ;-)

Well, as a newbie who only just bought his first IWC a couple of months ago, I can say that I would be very happy to find a CF3 on the marketplace - beautiful watch! I want one! Not fair!
Haha...
I've already seen 3 secondhand pieces, I think your analysis is correct, spot on. If I recall more than half of the 250 pieces were unsubscribed and was later sold by the boutiques.
