3508 Inge with non-IWC movement?

    When I buy really vintage watches, would make sure movement is correct.

    For newer vintage pieces, do not usually check because don't see the need.

    So rather shccked when I saw this Inge 3508 with seemingly correct case, dial,
    bracelet but with non IWC movement.

    Why would anyone want to do this?

    I would guess that something must have happened to the original movement that
    caused it to fail. As it was equipped with an IWC spec ETA 2892, the cheap fix
    was likely this ETA clone.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Just thought it would have been a better investment to fix the IWC movement,
    if it did have one, than to replace it with a non IWC movement.
