Hi, I have fallen for the 3536 and have decided to buy one, but I am in doubt on which one to choose, ti or ss? I love the ti for it’s toolwatch-style, but is it versatile enough for a daily wearer? Is the ss better both for office and the weekends? And which one is more sought after? Thanks for your input :-)

It's all personal taste of course, but for me the Titanium version is far preferable to the SS.  Nobody does titanium like IWC!  Great size and weight, always comfortable on the wrist, a typical classic IWC exuding "understated elegance"

Very good question and wonderful dilemma.
I set out that get a Ti 3536, but found one is SS.

I soon fell for it in a a big way. I like the heft of the steel one and the applied indeces just won me over.
I think Ti is a little more desirable, but I will stay with my steel.

I have the SS version of the 3536.
love it and isn’t leaving the collection.
but since an Aquatimer split minute (titanium) is part of the collection..
it’s much lighter on the wrist and so very comfortabel in wearing.
if the opportunity presents, I would even trade my SS for a Ti version..
    so there is my answer.
    Go for the Titanium 3536(!)

Given a choice...Ti all the way. You will enjoy the weight, feel and look.

Another vote for Titanium.  All the GST watches are a bit tall, and the lightness of titanium negates this top-heavy feel.

Another vote for titanium, with a proviso...get the steel version for the 'look' you can't get in titanium - the 3536-03.

Hi, thanks for your answer! Ti is also my favourite, but will the ti in your opinion be versatile enough to use with a suit at work? has written:

I like the steel version best. Here is mine on a rubber strap. No matter what you get you will have a great diver!

Well, the AT is just a "square" Ocean, many parts are identical. Even the
    bezels fit.

And the Ocean was only produced in titanium, so I prefer the TITAN AT.
