    Hello

I've wanted an IWC for a long time and finally bought a 3706-03 from a dealer, the case and crystal are perfect but there's a problem with the chronograph.
The Watch is so nice I'd like to see what the solutions are other than returning it for a refund.

Simply put - the main second hand and left seconds subdial are reversed.
When I click the top chronograph button the main seconds hand starts and stops, the lower button resets the main second hand to the top.
The left subdial acts as the main second hand should (only stops when the crown is pulled to position 2).

Is this an easy problem to get fixed or a more serious one?

    Thanks for any advice
    Graham

Hello Graham and welcome to the forum.
I believe what you are telling about the watch is in fact the way it should work.
When you look on YouTube and search for IWC chrono , there are plenty of results showing how the chrono should work.

    Hi Tonny

Thanks, I thought the 3 subdials were the chronograph, I was pretty confused how the second hand could be the chrono seconds.
In that case it's very good news since the Watch is in great condition and just what I wanted.

    This makes my weekend.

Graham - congratulations on a very cool watch! And just for your information, this is how almost all chronographs work, of any brand - the small subdial seconds is the "watch" seconds and the big centre seconds hand is the chronograph seconds. Just enjoy it!
