    Hi everyone
Hope that someone might be able to help me - I have a 3706 I'm not sure how old it is (T SWISS MADE T on the face - does that help?) its keeping ok time but not brilliant and the case is showing some wear and there is NO luminosity at all on the hands or dial. I've finally got round to having a full service and the case is going to be refurbed, my question is should I have the dial re lumed (spelling) or leave it untouched - my personal preference is to leave it as is but whilst I'm spending all this money i thought that I'd pose the question to the experts.
I look forward to you comments- many thanks Neil

Hi Neil, great watch you have. I guess 10-15 years old?

With regard to 'modern' tritium dials (not on a vintage watch) I don't think they will 'retouch'/relume! They'll swap the dial for a SuperLuminova version, which means it will be all black and white again, without the yellowish patina of your original Tritium dial (I guess your's will have that).

So, this is not about expert opinion but your personal preferences: do you like the dial as is? And/or: is luminosity important to you? I'd personally keep it as is.

Only complicating factor is that if they need to replace the hands after service, it won't look nice to have non-matching SL hands (white) and a T-dial (patina)....

Make sure to be clear on your instructions when you send it in for service.

    Kind regards,

    Bob
