    i was moving my pilot chrono off british summer time yesterday and accidentally wound the time anti clockwise. could this damage the movement?

    Should not be a problem

    but you should not attempt to set the day / date mechanisms between 8 pm and about 2 am. When setting the time to Time.gov, I often go past the actual time and back up to the exact synchronized time to take the play out of the gears.

    Perpetual calendar watches cannot go back past midnight, however.
