5001 + Santoni = Priceless

After enjoying my new 500114 for couple weeks, i still feel there was something missing. The black croc is nice but it doesn't feel like it's fitting due to the gold numeric and hands. I decided to visit the IWC Boutique store in Taipei 101 to check out the new Santoni strap that i've been drooling over from member pictures on this forum. After trying out a couple of Santoni straps as well as the IWC's brown croc, i decided to pull the trigger on this one:

Highly recommend the change. I actually checked out the IWC brown croc as well as the lighter Santoni croc but this one matches the watch the best. The look and feel of the watch are totally different now.

The rep showed me 1 other Santoni with the same color and both are completely different which make the watch even more unique.

Oh wow wow wow, I have said many times that a Portuguese warrants Santoni straps! A new look for a new watch. I am speechless...

Thank you for the kind words guys. Yes it is a very beautiful combination that i could not stop looking at it. I think IWC should consider offering Santoni strap to their Portuguese line. Even my fiance gets jealous that i look at the watch more than her. :)

Indeed, it looks awesome. I've bought the same package - 510014 accompanied with brown Santoni strap. Didn't have chance to change a strap. Can't wait weekends to go to the store to fix it
