This 76 years old watch has got a bank safe break after four years.
It is not special, but the perfect condition of this watch is something very special!
Although this kind of watch will interest only a few, I share some fresh photos of this perfect old watch as a curiosity, because it has come very well through exciting times.
For the last photo I have dismounted the refleckting plexi glass for a perfect view to that fantastic dial.

My guess is it is the same case with a different dial as shown in the 1941 blue catalogue

So, it`s worth the effort for another photo.
It shows a full set identical case and a nearly full sett Ébauche movement.
Probably the set was intended for a school watch, because the parts are well packed with handwritten labels on the packaging.
An interesting set, but I think it will take some more years to complete it and mounting the working Ébauche into the case ?!

And in direct comparison I stated one "not special" because the other one is really special.

But Bobs hint was a motivation to show this beauty.
As nicer the watches, as easier is taking photos and this VC is indeed my visual "roaring fourties", tops all others of that era and it is very rare.
