    Hi there!

    I came across this one the other day.

    Couldn't resist! Too bad I don't have (yet) the Jubilee Portugieser.
    Anyone interested? (I would gladly trade the stand for the watch!)

    Cheers
    William

    @thang: couldn't agree more!

    I wonder how the 3 jubilee watches in 1993 were presented in boutiques. Has anyone an idea? were the 3 on the same display?

    There were no Boutiques in the early 1990s.

    There were even no boutiques in the early 2000s.
    When Georges Kern took over in 2002 after a while the first boutique appeared. I think it was the one in Bahnhofstrasse Zurich. With many more that followed and still are to follow.

    Go Jubilee, go!!!

    No boutiques?!!! What?

    How did they ever sell the watches?

    I won't stop there for sure!
    My grail tool watch would be ref. 3705
    For the office an ingenieur ref. 866 ...blue dial!
    For cocktails occasions and sundays why not a ref.325, and for the safe at the bank a #1868 :-).

    What for sure is that the more I learn about this company, the more inclined I am to purchase pre-2000 IWC watches. I simply do not like today's trends.
