Posting a little later, so no more delays, here it is:
I have started the journey on Wednesday morning, ready, packed and equipped,
waiting for my colleague to drive me to the airport. A month before I was not
sure, which watch to bring, wanting to pay a tribute to two persons but at the
end the choice was made without me having to solve it. Giovanni's Aquatimer
was my companion for the trip:

The program was about to start only in the evening with the dinner so I have
had some time to look around. After all, this was my first visit to
Schaffhausen ever! I have followed my plan and took a walk from the hotel to
the Rheinfall, as the weather was really beautiful.

After that, meeting all the collectors together with IWC staff was a real
pleasure for everyone. This picture was taken before the dinner on Wednesday
in an already Christmas decorated restaurant.

No picture for this coming statement but it has to be said. How do you know
you are a special and valued person to a company? When upon your arrival the
CEO already awaits you in the auditorium and not vice versa. Really
appreciated, thank you!
There were not many chances to take pictures inside this magic building so at
least a few. Here with all the models from the current line-up:

I 'm not the type to take food pictures, very seldom and even from those taken
a very little is shared. But this one has to be here:

After the lunch a very special class took place to which I was REALLY looking

When meeting with many different people one can learn many different things,
not only about watches. We were lucky enough to get hold of this very special
Olympic Medal if only for a little while:

Last day after supervising the new plant location and enjoying a couple of
very interesting presentations a special workshop took place. A lesson in SAD
- Santoni Aided Design :o) In other words we were allowed to destroy a few
straps which shall be fixed later by the Santoni artisans ;o) Hopefully..

Three days of unforgettable fun went really fast, filled with a lot of talk,
learning and discussing everything from watches to construction, politics,
history, you name it. Meeting old friends and knowing new ones.
Let me thank once again to each and everyone who has helped to make this
happen. I have really enjoyed the time and loved to be there with you all.
Thanks to IWC and the team, you know how to treat people.
Looking forward to meet as many of you as possible again soon!
