Yesterday we had a great day with IWC! Kurt Klaus gave us an amazing presentation about his career and his inventions and a detailed explanation of his masterpiece, the Perpetual Calendar.

For those who don't know me, I'm the one on the left on the Vespa (with the hat).

Great photo - and some of our more well known Local Celebs sharing the limelight with you there, Dimer.

It's always an amazing experience to meet and hear Herr Klaus speak, and I am sure that all of you had a great day in Portofino!

    Best regards
    Mark

I'm an amateur boxer, does that count :D This picture was taken at an IWC Dealer Training in Zeist (The Netherlands) against a backdrop of Portofino ;).

    From left to right:

Mi-Ah (colleague), Me, Teun de Nooijer (three times World Hockey Player of the Year), Esther (colleague), Richard Krajicek (Won Wimbledon in '96), Kurt Klaus, Steijn (colleague), Humberto Tan (TV reporter) and Serina (colleague).

Some more pictures I took with my BB:

Kurt Klaus explaining how he fixed the leap year challenge which is quite ingenious because every year that is exactly divisible by four is a leap year, except for years that are exactly divisible by 100; the centurial years that are exactly divisible by 400 are still leap years. For example, the year 1900 is not a leap year; the year 2000 is a leap year. Kurt Klaus's PPC movement handles this without problems!

    haha ;)

He didn't mention it. The minute repeater is one of my favorite IWC's! It will fit perfectly in his collection. He has a rose gold 7 Days and a rose gold FA Jones. He wore the FA Jones. Richard Krajicek had the Yacht Club on his wrist. I'm don't remember what Teun de Nooijer was wearing.
