    Hello all,

When ranging the ramekins (that served as a recipient for a delicious 'crumble' made by my better half) this evening, I noticed how hard it was to stack them correctly. That was when I got this crazy idea that I just had to try!

So, here is my immitation of the tower of Pisa with of course my beloved Pisa Portuguese Perpetual Calender :-)

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IW502117/IW502117_20120814.jpg

Picture details: Canon EF-S 60 mm macro lens; ISO 400 with enhanced detailling; F 2/8; 1/20th second shutter speed.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

That's actually not a bad likeness of the tower. I really like that shot.

Our ramekins are blue so I guess I should send them to Alan.

Cool, interesting and funny pic Clemens. His ardoise cousin says hi...

I suspect my next IWC will be a double-moon portuguese perpetual as well with a strong blue accent ... You guys have me really going with the blues (Pisa 5441, laureus VC Ing, 500107 ...) and the perpetual (5021-21, your Pisa PPC)...

Great shot, Clemens. The only change I would suggest is to place the watch on the other side, so if the tower falls......

That would certainly be less artistic, but a lot more safe! :-)

    Hi Dick,

I completely agree with you but I took extreme care with the tower. The watch shows it's almost midnight so everybody else was sleeping, further reducing the risk of a Pisa tower collapse :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Thanks Tonny. I hope to arrange a small GTG late September or October. Details will follow in a few weeks!

Great shot Clemens, not only well framed and posed but you really seem to have nailed the lighting perfectly as well - having such a great subject only makes the job easier but shouldn't detract from your photographic skills in any way :)
