I 'm working on a report about my impressions of the book, IWC Schaffhausen, Engineering Time Since 1868. I still don't have the actual book, and these pages are from a "book about the book". Like the book itself, it's oversized and therefore it's very difficult to make adequate scans. Sorry for the quality of these images --but hopefully they're sufficient to serve as good teasers.

Your report is highly anticipated Michael

I believe this book may be the Company's Testament and a must have for all of us.

I'll give you my conclusion about it in 2 words...

    BUY IT.

It is a "must have" for every collector and fan of the brand. It offers something for everyone --it might not be perfect for some, especially those collectors who want even more technical detail, but everyone will learn and discover value in this book. It is a huge and comprehensive undertaking, and an important contribution to all of us,

    It is now available....

for "sign up" notification on amazon.com (US). It appears they project the release date in July. I intend to have a copy as soon as it is available. Thanks for the preview!

    Best regards,
    Jim

    Ordering this book?

I'd feel more comfortable ordering the book if there was an English webpage. All I found was a German language page to order from. If anyone knows how to order one for the U.S., please email me at mugszy@hotmail.com.

    Thanks, ej

Thank you Michael. Do you think >

an italian version will ever be available?

If not, that would be a pity, since IWC books usually have.

The book it's a "must have" for sure but, in other words, would you suggest me to wait or to go with the english version?

Thank you for the previews and for your wisdom.

    Regards,

    roberto

    If you can translate

the following line you don't need an Italian version Roberto,

    "Weiss gold Uhr". LOL

    Good Teasers indeed.....

...now, when can we get our hands on the real stuff?

Jokes aside Michael, anyone you know taking advanced orders on the book (trusting, that asking this question here is not in violation of our forum rules).
