A friendly Saturday competition...

Dear Friends,

As many of you know I am the very proud owner of one single IWC timepiece - the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar 502213.

Yes, I know it is a little embarrasing to only own one in the company of you all, but I am saving up to expand my collection :o)

Now, the 5022 has been replaced by the 5023 and is then not to be found in the latest IWC catalog. As I like to have a catalog of all the watches I own I went hunting for an IWC catalog that had my watch in it this fall.

During my search I found my watch in the 2008 IWC catalog. But, I inadvertantly ended up with two copies of the 2008 catalog :-)

So here is my little friendly competition:

I will send my excess copy of the 2008 IWC catalog to the person who will post the best picture of a watch that can be found in the 2008 IWC catalog!!

I will send the catalog anywhere in the world free of charge - but I do reserve the right to determine which picture I deem to be "THE BEST" - and no criteria is given so be creative :o)

I actually need a 2008 catalog since it has the 3227 in it, which is due back from the service center on Tuesday. For now, here's my entry!

Ken posted two pictures - and even though he wanted the 2008 catalog as his 3227 is in it, it was the second one that won me over. The Portuguese 500107 with the blue hands and numbers (also in the 2008 catalog of course), and with the beautiful brown strap and the matching brown leather background, was in my humble opinion the best picture submitted!!
