Thanks for looking and Fleekk - good eye! Its actually a 500401 on a DFB strap but identical from the side, of course.

This is one of the most comfortable strap I have ever use for my DfB. Love it.

Yes, a very unique look but it is, indeed, leather. The leather has been embossed to give it the textured pattern.
