    I can't take credit for this, I found it on Facebook and copied this Photoshopped picture. But it looks interesting incorporating the Portofino line with pocket watch heritage. What do you think? (Tony, please imagine it with a black dial! LOL)

    handwound, 8 days PR, digital, retrograde date - i love it, it has much of what I want, and everything I need (i.e. the date).

    one suggestion I have for improvement would be the retrograde date - with alternate numerals, to make for easier reading.

    Thanks for the links. Obviously, others have taken up the cause in the past. I like the joining of the Portofino line with the pocket watch concept. Perhaps that would be a way for IWC to find a place for it within the line.
