    Skule,

If you like the Inge Chrono, and I know you do, then this is a natural progression. Great watch. Great depth of field on that dial.
    Enjoy it!!

Thanks guys - a new IWC is always fun, and this is my 4th :-)

Alan - like all Portuguese lovers I really like the new chrono of course. I had the chance to try on and study Mark's in detail and it is an instant classic if you ask me. I was never a rose/yellow/red gold person before I fell for my PPC but after that something must have clicked because I think Mark's is the finest one.

I know that many of you are waiting for the Laureus Yacht Club, and there is absolutely nothin wrong with that - it is a very cool watch with a gorgeous blue sunray dial. Fortunately I had the opportunity to see pictures of both the above mentioned watches before making the decision to get the Volvo Ocean Race YC. I just love the carbon fibre dial with that 3D texture and depth, that texture is even shown on the rubber strap as well :-), the cool grey of titanium, and of course the red and blue details.

The PPC is unbeatable for style but in my day to day routine this watch is probably as close to "me" as any can ever get - I'm loving it!

PS! Since the question was raised regarding weight I weighed all my watches today:

    Big Ingenieur Chrono: 152g
    AT Deep Two: 148g
    5022 PPC: 142g
    YC Volvo Ocean Race: 120g

    How's that for light :-)

    Skule,

There is no doubt in my mind that you are absolutely correct about the carbon fiber dial and the depth of view through the crystal.

I would have bought one if I had not known that the Laureus was on tap. Every year I decide to get the Laureus and then I see something I like better and change up. I am holding fast this year.

An outstanding revealing Skule. Many many congratulations and I hope you will wear it from time to time on your cycling adventures.

Titanium and Carbon like our bikes !!!

You have captured some of the best photos of this model that I have seen. I wore this watch for a while a month or so ago in a dealer and I can understand fuly why it became a must have for you.

    CONGRATULTIONS.
