Very nice timepiece. It is great to have 7 days power reserve. Seldom need to bother about resetting the time. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Nelson,
This certainly is a beauty and though I own a 5001 this watch is very different and with the embossed dial very authentic and more 'vintage' looking!
The steel/black dial is in my top-3 'must buy one-day' list, if you know what I mean! The platinum is very very cool too!!!
Thanks for posting,
Bob
Loving mine more and more everyday
That is exactly why IWC need a Blumlein approach on all its operations. Right
now.
No more comment, I have in my collection two pieces in different metal and I
consider this watch one of the best ever made.
Thanks Nelson for this post, further I think that the watch is not at all
under appreciate.
Congratulation for your pictures, you surprised me a little bit....
I remember Mark Bernhardt, Michael Friedberg and Kurt Klaus coming to
California to introduce the 5000s. I was over the moon at a luncheon we had
for our distinguished visitors and the 3 new watches!
I'm giving credit to an old time IWC guy, Jon Lombardi for his great 5000
portrait.
It's indeed a beauty and a I believe it was the beginning of a new era for IWC
with their own calibers! And the reverse panda dial is superb!
