I offer nothing but encouragement for continuing to take these wonderful shots. The subject watches are two of which I never get tired viewing! Excellent photos, Clemens!

I love your take on Macro photography. Give me a lot to think about when I take macro shots myself. I appreciate your insight :)

If you have time, please feel free to check out my site at: AGoodTimePhotoBooth. I would greatly appreciate it :)

Hi Clemens, thanks for sharing your 'secrets'!

Love the result on the Pisa, the Z&Z is a bit off-white-balance maybe?!?

    Groet,

    Bob

I think this picture isn't that bad either. IPad, from about 15 cm. After the picture I got rid of the small superfluous rims.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Not that bad?! Not that bad??!! It's a GORGEOUS picture Paul! Very clean and sharp. Nicely reflects the discreet beauty of yellow gold too. LOVE this picture

Hello Paul and Koen - I think that what Clemens has accomplished is quite clever in that it retains the beautiful background blur while carefully dictating the shallow depth of field.
