    It's a very sad situation I am in, because my interest went from high to below zero regarding today's production. (from Herr Blümlein era)

    Still, I continue to dream big, and hope IWC won't forget about what they were (at least, to me!).

    But that is not the real subject. Yes, I am more and more interested in pre 1900 p.w., and yes, I recently managed to find this rather rare cal. 29, and thought about sharing it here.

    Unfortunately so far bad pictures, but I'll post good ones when I receive this movement. I do hope there is a matching case somewhere waiting for meseller bought 2 years ago this cal. from an old swiss lady, that had sold the gold case for well, you know! stuff!

    Meanwhile I'll continue to behave like an old grinch :)

    Hi

    The movement is somehow interesting, as the engraving of "International Watch co" is realy heavy on this movement filling up teh complete "bridge".

    Normally it is much lighter....
    ... compare to a "sister" movement (c.28)

    Indeed a nice example.

    Good that you aim to get it cased - it deserves to live in a good home!
