This watch is, in my opinion, particularly nice --it's steel with a dark blue "ardoise" style dial. The back shows an engraving of Cousteau and it's engraved as a tribute to him, This model's reference number will be IW376706.

I don't have full details on worldwide distribution, but initially it will be launched in the US as a "boutique only launch". Quantities will be limited, with about 50 pieces allocated to each of the two U.S. boutiques. I suspect there will be similar distribution elsewhere in the world.

U.S. delivery is anticipated for July but I believe pre-orders may be possible at the boutiques.

    Regards,
    Michael
P.S. This is just one of several special editions that are either boutique exclusive or will be launched initially in boutiques,.

    I don't know of that....

..I had heard some rumors earlier, but I'm not sure anything like that will be produced.

Maybe the best looking of all AT Chronos

Of course "real" pictures are needed, but IWC seems to save their best versions for the limited editions, like the Laureus Portuguese Automatic and the titanium Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar. This could be an instant hit, very nice indeed.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing rose gold VC Portuguese

    Very nice!

I like the details very much: the different color subdials for the chrono and matching blue rings on the chrono pushers are very nice!

Thanks for the report and looking forward to real pictures.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

All three subdials should have the same color,

    the rest is perfect!

Although blue is not actually "my color", this watch is quite tempting for me.

    No, I don't think so.

Andreas - the reason for the different colors are functional. That is, the blue subdials are for the chronograph.

The subdial at 9:00 is the watch's main seconds hand.

The chronograph hours and minutes are in blue - and don't forget, the center seconds hand is the chrono seconds hand.

The two blue subdials are of the chronograph

So it makes sense to highlight them, it makes it easier to read the total dial. I like the vertical line it represents.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing rose gold VC Portuguese, with a great one coloured dial

    Very yummy. I think that...

...an AT2000 would have looked brilliant in this color too.
I also like the crown. I wonder if that is color coating or rubber and if it serves any purpose other than being cosmetic.

    Cheers,
    Evan
