A Perfect Present

I scrimped saved, begged and borrowed to receive my perfect Christmas present...... IWC Vintage Ingenieur, Tribute To Italy. absolutely beautiful. With IWC as ever, though there're some great pictures, you just can't do them justice.

Congratulations, a great watch indeed. We saw pictures of it here, I liked it quite a lot. Any comments on the shell cordovan strap? Enjoy!

Thank you for the comments. The strap is very cool, feels really moulded to my wrist after only a couple of days.

The dial looks fantastic, coupled with the end stitching(colours of Italian flag) makes it totally unique. Congratulations!

Absolutely lovely watch. Is there any special engraving on the case back? Is it the sapphire crystal case back or a steel one ?

Congratulations again, those pictures show a very beautiful version of a great watch. That cream coloured dial does a lot, how different a watch can look because of it. And that slightly padded strap looks great too, it is a marvel. Keep enjoying it!
