I felt like sharing a new picture of my newest:

    [i904.photobucket.com/albums/ac247/padj1839/20140209_093728_zps2ea05a0e.jpg](s904.photobucket.com/user/padj1839/media/20140209_093728_zps2ea05a0e.jpg.html)

She warms me up on these cold, New Jersey winter mornings!
Dick let it be known that the watch consistently ran 16 seconds a day fast, but since I've had her it is keeping much, much better time than that. I guess she feels more at home in this Jersey-Italian atmosphere. What I'm saying.

Dick, maybe you have already done this but I hope you can post the story of how you got this magnificent watch.

Sorry I missed this post yesterday, Mike.

There is a long story to how I got the Pisa. I remember posting a long, hopefully humorous version just after I flew to New York to pick it up, but I can't seem to find that post using the search function. I did, however, find this short version of the story that contains my first set of pictures after its arrival:

    Hiya, Dick.
    Hope things are moving along.
After numerous failed attempts with the search engine I found the discussion you cited-fun reading. Fortuitous for you, the way someone reached out to you-and similarly fortuitous for me, the way you posted at just the right time.
While I was back in time I also came across a discussion started By Michael about Jubilees and whether or not they were worth the price one needed to pay-in 2008. This was a fascinating discussion with most contributors feeling the watch was worth the going rate. Interestingly, the price has not changed much since then, and one could even get a steel Jubilee for less than $17000, right now, today. Just saying.

Thanks, Nad, Mark and Jarrod. She's getting plenty of wrist time.
