PORTUGUESE YACHT CLUB CHRONOGRAPH EDITION “LAUREUS SPORT FOR GOOD FOUNDATION”

    media2.iwc.com/site_media/uploads/images/2013/03/07/PressReleaseProductPhoto.jpg

For the seventh consecutive year, IWC Schaffhausen demonstrates its commitment to philanthropy and skills in beautifully designed timepieces by releasing a limited special edition in aid of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. This year the Swiss manufacturer recreates a watchmaking legend, the Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph, resplendent in the distinctive Laureus blue, a colour which has come to signify hope in a better future for disadvantaged children the world over.

Another blue beauty. But how about a blue strap to go with it?

Kevin and Alan, the race is on. I'll set up the office pool to guess who gets one first.

Bill, the race is which boutique gets it first and if they both use NY who gets the call first. My money is on Kevin getting through the door sooner than Alan. But first owner on the forum may be the Prof from Scotland who has a full set so far!

Kevin has all of them as well. The race is on. But local, home-team advantage rules may apply, as you surmise.

    Greg,
Not to be too competitive but I'm not sure the Andrew has all 6 Laureus at this point.

I wouldn't bet against the US Blues Boys just yet. LOL

This maybe the best looking of all 7 Laureus' but that is IMHO.

Hmm, Kevin sounds decided while Alan ponders about a rubber strap option. Can I still put my money on Kevin?

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

PS: Or could this be a trap that Alan has set for us?

Indeed Kevin is fully informed. I currently have 4 Laureus models. My Laureus Portofino Chrono is currently in Schaffhausen waiting to reach me in Basel (one day I will share the story of why it has taken so long to reach me) - to make it 5 - and the Laureus Portuguese Yach Club chrono model is waiting for delivery to me as well - that will make it only 6. The Laureus Da Vinci will join me one day - but I wait for the right time / price ;-).
