A real treat for the collectors: the CF4 arrived, orders can be made.

In the movement details, it lists a Pellaton system with ceramic components. As far as I know, IWC is not building entire automatic winding systems in ceramic, but only certain components. In the images, it appears that the winding pawls are ceramic. Most likely it has been determined that the ceramic pawls work quite well with a metal wheel and the cost of additional ceramic components could not be justified by any significant improvement in performance.

I talked to the IWC boutique in Madrid. They said the watch will not be launched until next year and they dont have any details around same (saying it was not on the system as yet). whats next try another boutique?

Ordered one. I've always admired the Darwin bronze, I did not like the rubber chrono pushers and I've always had a problem with divers with chrono functions. I'm.very much looking forward to January 2018 taking delivery

I just called my AD for more info. After calling IWC he unfortunately told it is Boutique only... Anybody can confirm?

Is there a €-price available already? Gonna try to place an order at the local boutique depending on the pricing level.

Edit: Does anybody know if IWC will release other strap options? Id like to see this one on a khaki or blue rubber.

fyi, i received word from IWC that my cf4 is on the way to me.

My CF4 waits since 2 weeks at my IWC dealer, did notget the time to pick it up till now.....

.... interested to get it (but I hesitate, if I should not wait till my birthday in March)....

I really want one of these, so asked IWC Beverly Hills to find me one.

Just got one today from IWC Btq in Rome. That’s made it an expensive vocation but wow is it gorgeous! 3 IWCs in now (others are an 8 day Hnd wnd Portofino, and an ASE Double Chronograph). Think I m hooked now.
