Hi all,
Today my youngest son had an anniversary party in Amsterdam, so I had to take him and had an hour or two to spare.
After dropping him off, I went to the city and took this distant picture of the recently re-opened Rijksmuseum. The renovations took ten years!
we finally had some Spring weather so the tulips are blooming:
I visited the Nespresso Boutique in the PC Hoofstraat and filled up the stock of capsules, bought a few new Espresso cups and some fine pure Nespresso chocolates too!
I wanted to have a look at the recently opened Abercrombie and Fitch store on the Leidsestraat but there was a queue of about 20 feet so I passed!
It was almost time to pick up my boy, but I still had a few minutes to spare so I took these shots at the Bosbaan, a well known rowing track in the 'Amsterdamse Bos':
When I got home and saw the beautiful sunlight (again) I couldn't resist to take this picture:
The Spitfire UTC nicely matches the elegant Citiz hand-blown double-walled glass and the taste of the special edition Napoli (intensity 11 on a scale of 1 to 10!) is really something.
