This new model is anticipated for delivery in December 2010, in a limited edition of 50 for the Beverly Hills and Las Vegas boutiques. The sides will be engraved "one out of fifity". I don't have the reference number yet, but it is in the 5004 series.

Personally, I rather like this one --it's nicely different and almost a "stealth watch"!

    Regards,
    Michael

What metal is the case? I like this one as well.

Too bad it dropped the 9, but I guess it has to be in the 5004 genre.

    Looks very contemporary

I like the chromatic antithesis of the dial, great for the Summer 2011 too and a good predecessor to a potential Laureus BP.

Maybe , no definately - it's becoming time....

Michael, whilst there are many IWC's on my wish list, and despite the fact that many of the good folk out there don't consider one a "true collector" unless there is at least one BP in the collection, I have never seen one (least ways not one I could afford) that I said I needed to put on the "wish list".

This one did it for me........I want one!

    Thanks for posting.

Please, don't be coy: tell us which one and why

I wouldn't mind doing so, and I did in the past. It is a means to share anticipation. And of course, I am plain curious!

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Portuguese (quite a nice alternative)

well for me: Pure Classic... for me still the no 1

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for your question: my favorite is the most classic Port, the Pure Classic.

Why? Last year I bought the new Aqua 2000. Love that watch and now it's time for a more classical watch to compete.

I think the Port Pure Classic fit's in with my other Ports: 3712 5441 and 2000.

On the other hand I must say the the YC Port with white dial is also growing on me. A custom made croc would be a compliment to that watch.

    Greetings, Martijn

    Congratulations Martijn

I read your story under another thread, really great! I think it is quite an elegant watch. To be frank, I had thought that it would have been sold out very quickly by reservations, in that view I think you are very lucky. And all the more by mentioning Nad.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing titanium Ingenieur Automatic, quite nice for a change
