Adding a Pallweber to the collection

Collecting pocketwatches is fun, and fun on different levels : having the watch in the collection, the hunt for that one that is missing or/and the history that every watch brings .
Last week I was fortunate to buy this gold Pallweber pocketwatch in great condition.
Why ? Because I like Pallweber watches, and I didn't had a gold one yet in the collection.
I had a little chat with the seller : he was selling the watch that was bought in 1884 by his direct ancestor. This was a family piece that stayed in the same family of the first buyer who bought it new in 1884 in Amsterdam. The first owner was a gentleman farmer who had two gold pocketwatches, this IWC Pallweber and a gold Waltham.
He wore this IWC on special occasions so it was well looked after and was most of the time in a safe. The seller had no real interest in a pocketwatch so he decided to sell and I was so happy that I could get it. 
Special also for me is not alone the great condition of the watch and dial, but also the language on the dial. We know of Pallweber dials in English, French, Chinese, German, Spanish, Portuguese, but also in Dutch. Very rare to find.
The serial number is located under the dial, so I need to take it to SChaffhausen to have a look. Case number is 842, in 14K gold.
