Addition to my collection

I've been coveting the Titanium Ref 3756 GST (The "T" in GST) Perpetual
Calendar for some years now. The ones I've seen listed seemed to require me to
'compromise ' like 'no box, no papers' or
'condition issues' or 'non-English dial', location, etc...

Last FRI morning, I was at my local coffee shop just looking at emails and
astonished!! A dealer I know very well in Boston (where I had bought my
Salmon Steel GST Perpetual 21 years ago had one that JUST ARRIVED and the
photos were unbelievable. Watch was serviced by IWC only 19 months ago, and it
was in impeccable, unworn condition and had box, papers, service records,
tools, all links and hang tags, etc. I put an appointment on my calendar to
call the dealer
at 10:01am, a minute after they opened and cut the deal - and FedEx made
delivery attempt on SAT morning, while I was out for just 15 mins on a routine
errand with my family...so I had to wait all weekend until MON.

Well, here it is with it's "Big Brother".

Now that really is one helluva sports watch. Huge congratulations, Richard, I
too greatly admire both of these GST perpetuals - just amzing!!! Add a black
rubber starp and you have a couple more awesome watches. Also love the
original, simple and secure strap exchange system.

Yes, Rich, Yes! Those GST models you have are super great. Congratulations.

Now, you must add the Split Minute, don't you think?

Bas - I love your GSTs!!!!

What can I say? I can talk about this watch forever. Taking the Da vinci
perpetual calendar module and putting it into a strongbox sporty titanium case
was on another level. Almost 20 years since it was released there really isn't
a better sports perpetual calendar out there. It has all the hallmarks which
made IWC great back then ( titanium case, da Vinci perpetual movement,
aquatiimer case, quick change bracelet). It's also one of the most fun watches
every Dec 31st when the year changes. In addition it's got one of the nicest
moonphases ever made with the starry night sky. A fantastic preowned value
proposition as well. Iwc do not make anything near as good these days, and
when they do it's an exorbitant retail price. I had the steel versions but
something deep down was saying I needed this titanium version as it most
repreeented what a sporty perpetual calendar should be. A keeper for sure
