Advice on a Cal. 83

Hi all,

I am new to IWC and would be grateful for any expert thoughts/opinions on the following Cal. 83 piece. Any particular concerns, also in light of the two obviously missing screws?

Also: Does anybody know where the old catalogues can be found?

Any thought/observations would be much appreciated. While I have decided not to purchase this watch (at the asking price of USD 1'500), it would still be interesting to hear what others think.
