    Here are some more oldies that came into the collection last months. Some rare cal 32. There is a big difference in finishing of the calibers.

    Very nice movements but also beautiful cases.
    I have never seen the golden case with its edges.

    Hi Tonny,
    I find it very interesteing, how "degraded" the upper "ELGIN 1. Qual" is:
    - no decoration on the "Balance cock" and the "escape wheel cock"
    - no blewed screws
    - (probably no brueguet balance spring, can't realy see it)

    The difference of finishing is realy impressive between teh early lower and the late upper piece.

    Hello Ralph,
    The gold one is a very early one, the silver cased is from a later date.
