Here are some more oldies that came into the collection last months. Some rare cal 32. There is a big difference in finishing of the calibers.

I find it very interesteing, how "degraded" the upper "ELGIN 1. Qual" is:
- no decoration on the "Balance cock" and the "escape wheel cock"
- no blewed screws
- (probably no brueguet balance spring, can't realy see it)The difference of finishing is realy impressive between teh early lower and the late upper piece.

The gold one is a very early one, the silver cased is from a later date.
