    Hello everyone.

Its been a while since I last posted mostly due to life monopolizing my time :(

I wanted to quickly share some pictures of a watch I acquired last year which we don't get to see much of on the forum. I believe this is a boutique only edition which was issued to celebrate AMG's 45th anniversary.
Ironically, I was never too fond of the modern Inge line but this bad boy somehow changed all that!
    Please enjoy without further ado.

Some close-ups. The numeral font was cleverly selected to reminisce race car dashboards from the 60s:

    The case:

The strap is pretty well thought of too and reminds me a lot of car driving gloves:

The carbon dial is pretty special:

Display back to admire the cal 89361 which has been exceptionally accurate averaging +3 sec per day:

    And finally here is Bill:

If you are wondering what the story behind this picture is you can have a look at this thread.
It just so happens that was the day I got my Inge in a completely unplanned and spontaneous moment and this picture serves as a reminder of that day. Bill was kind not to include this little detail in his report hoping I'd post, albeit almost a year later. Moral of that story is: beware of the boutique GTGs :)

So far this Inge has received considerable wrist time. It is big and heavy, but wears surprisingly comfortably.

    Cheers,
    Evan

    Evan,
Now I know who can keep a secret. And I tried that watch on a few times. If I didn't already have the DFB version I probably would have purchased it.
Hope you continue to enjoy it.

It's really nice to be able to appreciate movement via the caseback of the previous variant of Inge chrono.

Thank you for sharing, wonderful photos!

Evan, love that watch, wished I had pulled the trigger when I had the opportunity. It is always great to hear that after a year of wrist time the owner is still happy and excited about a piece.
Continue enjoying and wearing in good health.

    Regards,
    Kevin

    hi Evan,
quite a coincidence, I just saw the very same model last Friday when I was in Zurich...the the carbon dial is indeed very appealing and the watch had an overall great appeal all together with the fact that it's a 145 LE.
Unfortunately, on my wrist it was indeed far too big...otherwise, I would seriously consider it..
wish you to continue enjoying it..
    cheers,
    yitzhak

I saw the same watch recently on a friend's wrist. The depth of the carbon dial gave the Ingenieur a textured look I found very appealing. Your right, it was heavy but very comfortable on the wrist. Congratulations and thanks for the great pics, Evan...and who can resist a photo of Bill with a hat full of money!!! lol!

Congratualtions on the watch! It's a real nice piece - the design is quite "technical", but at the same time has a modern touch.

Evan, great watch - great story!

    And great photo's too.

I've always liked that Inge - and in fact have not yet seen one of those limited series pieces in the wild.

Look forward to seeing that watch in a few months time.

Thanks for the story and pictures Evan. The closeup shots of the dial are amazing! I am surprised to see the dial isn't totally polished but looks a bit rough.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens
