In fact just the bracelet is new. What really is a shame, is that for the price the pushers to remove the links and the bracelet are not delivered anymore!
Someone's got a pair to sell?

Toothpicks work as well, although I also would want the original tool.

    Hello Tilo,
I have a set of pushers I don't need anymore. Unfortuantely I don't remember for which IWC metal bracelet I received the pushers and whether they suit your watch.
If you are interested please contact me on su15456@sunrise.ch.
I also live in the Basel area so we could meet easily

I remember that when buying my Spitfire Chrono on the bracelet a few years ago, the pushers were initially no part of the deal. The reasoning was, that removing or adding links was deemed to be too complex a job for an ordinary customer, this was a job for a watchmaker! I then showed the AD the booklet of the watch, in which was written that the pushers were part of the package, and I was faily adamant about getting them. The AD finally gave in, probably didn't like the argument in his shop.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Tilo, I suspect you have looked, but on a couple of my IWC's the pushers were stored on the underside of the tray in the box. It's easy to miss seeing them. I bet you have looked, but just in case.

Bill, I will have a look tonight in my boy of the Silberpfeil. But I'm almost sure, they were not provided there with the watch.
I initially bought the watch with the rubber with leather inlay strap. Although you need the pushers too, to remove and fix the rubber strap on the watch. They have those push buttons too.
So now after more than too years and just the leather part of the strap not looking so shiny anymore, I decided to upgrade the watch with the bracelet. I bought the new IWC bracelet from the Chronograph Racer at an AD. It came in a tiny white paper box and just with the bolts to fix at the watch but no tools. I asked the dealer, but they said, that the tools are not part of the package anymore.
The bracelet really is a blast, I!ll post more detailed pictures soon.

Congrats Tilo, your Silberpfeil looks fantastic on the bracelet. Should you guys want to extend your watch talk meeting to a little GTG in the Basel area, please let me/us know the dates. Would be nice to see you and other forummers again.

    Cheers Chris

    Thanks for the compliments, Chris.
Yesterday night I bought it and spent quite some time to find out the best length and position of the bracelet links.
Today wore it all day and couldn't be happier with it. Maybe I'll post some time about the great engineering of the bracelet.

I also found a colleague at my client's office who is interested in IWC too. He's got the Big Inge and initially bought it with the bracelet which he doesn't wear anymore because he likes more the strap option. He gave me the bracelet for a test so I could see how it looks on my watch. I was not sure in the beginning if it really fits.
NONE of the IWC shops could offer me the option to try the bracelet before buying it. Even neither the boutique in Schaffhausen, nor the ADs here in Basel. The problem is, they have no "old style" Ingenieur watches in their stock. So if anyone is questioning why they were discountinued: Here you have the reason! I don't understand it honestly spoken because despite the fact, I never really like the Genta Jumbo SL style in the past, I really fell in love with the modern interpretation of it in the 45 and 46 mm range with Carbon, Ceramics, Titanium Alumnid and of course the steel versions too!
I found out that the Big Inge bracelet has slightly different links to connect watch and bracelet so it wouldn't fit correctly. But I was able to fix it with a piece of wire (in fact with a paper clip: REALLY!). So I could test the look and feel before buying it. But I really need the fine adjustment of the folding clasp and the half link of the bracelet to fix it properly on my wrist:
Now during the hot summer days my wrist has quite a variance in circumference, so the Big Inge bracelet didn't fit either because it was either really tight (in fact a little bit too tight) or too loose. But I'm happy and greatful, I could test!

Let's make a GTG of the Basel area one day!
Now we are 5 people: Chris, Daniel, Andrew, Urs and me. And I'll ask that colleague too if he'd be interested. Maybe we can have a dinner, some beer and watch talk. Would be great fun!
