Just imagining what a spa job at Schaffhausen
would cost for such a watch makes me say "NO" But if you did do it, you would enjoy great crowds around you at the next IWC get-together!
Good luck with your decision.
yes and no...
I'd trade a lot of watches for the Scafusia, but not all my 325s were I you. I'd keep at least one, and ante-up for the difference if I could.
That said, I sold most of my "rare" IWCs for the Regulateur Tourbillon, and haven't looked back. But you have more and rarer IWCs. Still, it's never a black-or-white decision, and I'd tilt the shades of gray with not giving up as many as you would in the hypothetical.
Good luck --one way or the other.

The Warhorse is a tour de force of watchmaking, for sure, but for me it is somehow...cold. Your Ref 325s, on the other hand, have beauty, romance, a simplicity that is alluring.
I understand the question, though, and certainly don't envy the choice you have to make. Good luck!

Very few things in life are B&W...
and mine was full of shades of gray, but this decision is becoming easier by the hour, leaning heavily in favor of maintaining status quo.
Yes.The Ref 325 has that "Je ne sais quoi" :-) nt
The project was abandoned...
for many reasons. One of them was because my heart was not really into it. The collection stays on course. ,-))
Thank you all for your views and opinions.
Congratulations, a wise decision (nt)
My thumb's up
Even if "Il Destriero Scaffusia" is quite a piece, I think your 325 (aka THE WATCH) is just way over it, in terms of historical meaning, in terms of DNA, and on, and on, the "je ne sais quoi" you wrote. Very wise decision, imho.

Jean
Thanks for the interesting discussion! nt
