I'm pleased to announce a really important piece by Dr. David Seyffer, IWC Museum curator, on the history of the automatic movement, in the context of the entire Swiss watch industry and culminating in IWC's development of the Pellaton winding system.

It's a great article for those interested in history, technical stuff or to understand more about how your contemporary watch works. In short, it's for everyone --enjoy!

A second master piece by David on Albert Pellaton.
Some members of my generation( dino's) have come to collect IWC because of the achievements in horology by IWC men such as Pellaton.
Well written and even an attractive article for those who are less technical gifted readers.
    Congratulations!
    Adrian,
