AN INGENIEUR DREAM
very nice!... it has a GST feel... it could be a great F1 watch for Mercedes or McLaren!
What is black DLC coating?
Is this a real watch, or has the picture been photoshopped to show an effect? How strong is DLC coating against scratches? From this picture it is a bit difficult to judge how the watch will look, I think that a wrist shot would be better. All in all I think this is quite a nice watch, but too big, a too massive chunck of steel. A forum member sold, or tried to sell, this watch quite quickly after buying it. Futhermore, black seems to loose popularity, when you have to believe reports from the Basel fair, like that of the German moderator of this forum.
Kind regards,

The most recent treatment known so far is
called PECVD, Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition. They say it makes surfaces treated with this method, 4 times harder than steel.
The Inge looks nice but this configuration misses the main purpose that is to prevent scratches where they're easy to happen, the bezel.
Generally speaking, I prefer the watch the way it comes out from the factory.

Cool idea.
Roberto is right, furthermore
I do not believe it is an actual model but only a "dream" anyway good old ceramic is still my favorite, nice thought though.

I honestly don't think it works for the Inge >>>>
....although I own some other PVD and DLC watches.
I do, however, like the vulcanized Galapagos!!!
I like the idea of a steel bracelet for the BIC.
I have been recently thinking of adding a steel bracelet for my Big Ingenieur Chrono... hmmm, your photo seems to make a solid case for that.
I prefer it made in full titanium!
