Enjoyed a pleasant bike ride to a quiet New England beach this AM with and old IWC. The sandy dial, and blue sky brightens up the foggy skies. I like the contrast of the 'blued steel' hands on the dial of this sporty perpetual calendar...

Yes, I remember, that salmon coloured dial was very special, on a great looking sporty perpetual calendar. That colour should be used a bit more often. Enjoy your watch, and your beach rides!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Richard, this watch is fantastic. I enjoyed seeing this one on your wrist more than 10 years ago already. But these pictures are very beautiful. This is probably the most sporty perpetual calendar made ever.

The salmon dial is very nice and looks even better on wrist. The only one I have handled is Tonny's, but I think he sold his to fund something else.

Always thought the Salmon dial was smart looking. Thanks Richard for reminding us how beautiful it is. I think it would be nice to bring that color back into the lineup. Perhaps a AT Salmon dial with a Ti casing would be a perfect opportunity to reintroduce it in the 2014 Collections.
