    Hello

I'm new to the forum, I'm a pocket watch collector but also a reseller.

I bought this iwc long ago when i was newbie and did not care much about it as
i bought it for spares, in case in future i need parts for iwc. Last month i
needed a part for iwc pocket watch and i remembered this one. Unfortunately
movements arent same caliber but when i checked the watch, i could not believe
in my eyes. I still cant.

It has serial number of 355. I still do not think this one is only 355th watch
produced by iwc but i like the idea of this has a chance to be real. So i
thought best place to ask for it is IWC company. When i logged iwc.com i found
out that there is also a forum for lovers. So i decided to ask experts about
    it. What do you think?

    Thanks a lot

It is an Elgin I. Numbering started for this calibre at 1 while others had
    their own numbering.

If the movement doesn't work you will have a problem to find the necessary
spares to bring it back into working condition.
