An old but beautiful pellaton system watch !

I have got an IWC from the sixtie's. I would like to know the year of making of the watch. And I have a question about serials numbers : they are différent on the case and on the movement. I don't know if it's normal or not...

this a IWC Cal 853, portofino type, ref boitier : 1546197 et ref mouvement : 1516322

Your watch, which appears to be in excellent condition, dates to around 1960/61. The case and movement were manufactured during that period, thought it may have been sold later.

It's a great watch with a extraordinary two tone dial and shiny index, very hight accuracy and beautiful movement !

I am very happy about this watch, even if his size (35mm without crown) is not very big. A beautiful IWC to wear an evening at the ambassador's dinner!
