Since I just got my Pisa back and it's full moon, I couldn't resist taking a picture!

Because you are probably getting bored of these pictures, I included something else too. Recently a watch of mine was sent back to Schaffhausen for a QC issue and since I hadn't even had the chance to wear the watch (let alone give it to myself as a Christmas present), IWC came up with a present to take away my sad feelings.

Here is the first picture of the item I received:

And to keep in the spirit of the Forum, I will first let you guess a day before I show the rest of it ;-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

The dimensions of the box are about 25 x 28 x 7 cm and it's not too heavy. There isn't anything ticking inside either.

I am looking forward to more guesses. I will reveal that it's made in China though and it came without manual.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Thanks Kevin. For an iPad case, it's much too thick so unfortunately that's not the correct answer.

Never boring, Clemens, it is quite a treat. I am glad for you the Pisa is back to distract you from whatever you are doing. Just wearing its blonde sister, so nice too.

As for the box: a container for straps?

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Tonny: I guess five iPads could have fitted but the box isn't empty.

Paul: it's no box for straps, sorry. Neither a box for multiple watches.

Mark: That's very close, only the word 'cleaning' is wrong...

Here is one of the items that's in the box. As a matter of fact, there are two like these in it. I can only guess what they are meant for:

Looks like a cool travel case for watches. Whatever it is, we can't wait to see the real answer.

Sorry Mark, no cigar. I have seen IWC kitchen knives and corkscrews but this box and it's content is watch related.

    Kind regards,

Forget the empty box, more pics of the Pisa, please!!!!!

(Ok, I am still a little curious. Assume a watch storage case for four)

Bill: that would have been a very nice goody too but nope.

Mark: It's not the exact word I was looking for but it does describe correctly what it's for. The label on the back says "watch care kit" and unfortunately it comes without documentation.

Here are all the pictures I took:

    The box:
    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_1.jpg

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_2.jpg

    The content:

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_3.jpg

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_4.jpg

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_5.jpg

The loupe magnifies 2.5 times and is ideal for a closer look at the watch. The magnification isn't enough though to see the engravings in the St Bernards ear discussed in another topic.

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_6.jpg

The strangely shaped pads, I guess for posing the watch case on when using the polishing tools:

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_7.jpg

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_8.jpg

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IWC/wck_9.jpg

I hope one of the more experienced Forum members can tell me how to use the polishing products and what not to do with them. The bottle says that the content is alcohol-free but it doesn't state what it does contain...

Kind regards and thanks for guessing!

    Clemens
