Unfortunately it's a little bit over my budget for the next few years :(

If I could I would, but this is definitely impossible.
But anyhow - another fantastic watch dream.

It never hurts to dream Tilo. If I had the funds I would pick this one up now.

That's one of my dream watches also, Tilo. It will unfortunately remain a dream for the foreseeable future...but it is always a joy to see on someone's wrist.

Agree. There is simply nothing else like it for sale. In the flesh it is unbelievably cool. A definite Grail for me.

It is the steel 502308 and I'm surprised if it is still available - there is simply nothing out there that can compete. A perpetual with complete year display completely controlled by one crown and a moon phase accurate to one day in 477 tears, not to mention the in-house 7-day engine, at that price point??? Quite an offering from IWC!

I know what you mean. I am wearing the 502307. It's just a special watch!

Fantastic watch. I like the dial colour a lot. But it will remain a dream for me too...for quiet a while.

    Cheers Chris

It is limited to 500 pieces and my AD still has (had?) one some weeks ago. The price is interesting for a new one but me buying just 2 other pieces right now cumulated to the same price as this single piece.
After market prices for this one are sometimes higher than for the red gold with black dial. But this one has really grown on me.

You certainly have good taste, Tilo! It's fun to dream. When I bought my very first IWC - a pre-owned Mark XV on bracelet for just under $2000 (ahh, the good old days!) - I dreamt of a Jubilee Portuguese. A few years later, one landed on my wrist!

I'll look forward to seeing the SS Portuguese Perpetual on your wrist soon! Right after the BP LPP! :-)

Dick, I feel how I'm getting gready now! But my bank won't play this game with me, I'm so sorry for that. Because this watch is really a great opportunity to get lots of value and beauty for your money. ;)
