Super excited to say that I will soon be adding the Big Pilot Le Petit Prince to my collection as it will be a gift from my fiance at our wedding later this month.
As this is my first IWC, I was curious if there are any details as to production numbers? Just curious as to how many LPP's are out there.

Hello Greg and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and amazing wedding gift! Unfortunately because the current Big Pilot edition Petit Prince is not limited there is no information available on production numbers. It's a stunner of a watch that I know you will enjoy - please do post some photos.
The original BP LPP (5009-08) was a Limited Edition of 1000

Yeah that is what I figured but wondered if there is any generalized guesstimate as to how many typically get produced?
WhichWatch – Thanks for the details. I actually like the open edition better tbh. As a designer by profession I prefer the soft more round numbers versus the large bold numerals on the limited edition version.
We are not aware of production figures as IWC does not make this information pubic.
