both at day light and at dark please.
I start to plan my next IWC purchase, and this will probably be one of those models..so any real life photos would be appreciated..
thanks and regards,

I'm sure there are dozens of images that you'd like, perhaps even hundreds, if you search the archived posts. Just use the magnifying glass icon on the upper right of the screen.
Good luck.

Good Luck with your decision!!
I'm done..;-)

Here is your photo Mr. Dekkers. You have to use the direct link from photobucket, click on photo icon, paste in your photo info, and hit Okay.
Then use Preview to make sure it worked.

Wow, some of these photos are really good.
Keep them coming.
Joe,
I've have seen in a shop here in Bern a pilot chronograph with a top gun strap like you have but in a ceramic case...do you know if this is a discontinued model since it's not in the current IWC catalogue..
thanks,
simius
Hi Simius,
The IW3789-01 is the 44mm Top Gun that my strap is from. This model was a limited production. Still available, but no longer in production. (at least for now.)
The current Top Gun is the 46mm IW3799-01 and takes a 1mm wider strap, with a different stitch pattern.
The strap on my watch is 21/18mm.
Best,
-Joe
Hi Joe,
thanks for the comment..
still, it's strange, because the diameter of the ceramic chronograph I saw was for sure not 44mm, it's was actually placed side by side near the 3717 chronograph and actually had the same diameter, 42mm...so don't think it was a top gun chrono..
well, better I have a look again..

Hello Simius,
Here are some 'live' photos of my St-Ex UTC!!!!
I hope this helps:
Nad,
the UTC at dark is absolutely captivating...I tried today this watch in a shop in Basel...well, the moment of decision is approaching and I do love this watch..

simius
Really great pictures. I think the Laureus Edition in blue is my favorite. The color seems to really pop off the watch face.
