I mean, anybody ordered a watch and is awaiting delivery? Care to share what watch it is? I wonder how you are coping with the joy of expectation.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing rose gold VC Portuguese

    Paul...

I am patiently waiting for delivery of the CFDV in June. It seems that the time moves pretty slowly. However, starting with Michael's initial photos, the shots from the Chicago GTG, SIHH pictures and slides, and the promise of another round when the New York GTG occurs...I must say that I've gotten some visual stimulation to tide me over. It's a long incubation period!!!!!!!

    Best regards,
    Jim

That's beyond my design parameters Paul

As for awaiting watch delivery, I have a non-IWC coming.

    Just delivered :)

    Monday Feb 1 2010 at 8:30pm, weighing 115g.
Baby is in great shape and is looking absolutely fabulous!
All siblings gave her a warm welcome at home. LOL!

This was my shortest "pregnancy" ever - only lasted a week. Can't complain :)
I was very fortunate that IWC had one last example of what I was looking for and it arrived 6 days after ordering.
    Fantastic job IWC!

Speaking about IWC, my dealer in NY was full of praise about the service she gets from IWC, not just in this particular example. I expected nothing less, but was very happy to hear it and thought it would be worth mentioning.

I promise to reveal and post pictures soon. Until then, any guesses?

    Cheers,
    Evan

    Congrats!

A not complete survey shows two candidates:
    - white gold Portuguese régulateur
    - rose gold Portuguese Automatic
Given the quick delivery time I guess it is the Automatic. Great watch! But if it would be the régulateur the same applies, can you ever go wrong with a Portuguese?

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Portuguese: this post looks like an advertisement for the Portuguese

    Great shape?

Could be a Da Vinci Automatic from the Vintage Collection in stainless steel with alligator leather strap.

    Congratulations!

Paul, spot on! Very good guesses.
You are absolutely right, one can not go wrong with a Portuguese :)

    i'm sort of pregnant.

i have expressed interest in the new portuguese grande complication in rose gold.
IWC asked my AD if i would be interested and after some thought (20 seconds!) i said yes.
however, i will need to see the watch in the flesh before i finally commit. but i'm pretty sure i will commit.

    Now that's fantastic

We didn't see its predecessor too often here, and from the pictures shown this new one really is impressive. I hope you like it!

I am in about the same situation: I have one ore two that may be candidates for my wrist, but I have to see them first. However, I didn't contact my AD yet, I wonder whether she will order these watches with the chance that I will not buy them. Knowing me, I will not decide on the spot, so the logistics may be a bit difficult. My (lack of) plan until now is that I just wait and I may see them by chance in Switzerland: without any pressure I then take it as it comes.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing my steel VC Pilot's watch, ideal for Sunday, and Monday, and...

I didn't see the reply from Paul so I also checked the entire collection and found that the Vintage Da Vinci Automatic in steel is also 115 grams.

The Port Auto is a stunning piece, make sure to post some pictures and wear that beauty in good health!

    Kind regards,

Didn't see the post from Jens-Kristian either :-)

At least it looks like there are plenty of people who checked out the entire collection to come up with an answer here :-)
