anyone ever change the strap on a Portugieser 3714?

I have the white dial with blue numerals.  It came with a navy strap which is nice but I like to change straps.  I tried a black crock and it just didnt do it for me.  has anyone had any luck with this and if so could you post pics?  thanks

Beside the standard Croc I mainly use the dark brown Santoni strap or a blue canvas.
Never tried a NATO before but saw some pictures on which it was looking pretty nice.

I know the price tag is pretty high, but a Milanese bracelet looks heavenly on this reference.

Another possible option for your 3714 blue hands is a Grey Croc or even a canvas in Grey. Playing with the many shades it comes in should be a fun project. I have the 3714 Silver/ Gold hands and it came with the OEM Black but lIke you, it didn't do much. I alternate between Santoni Browns and your OEM Blue. Here it is ...

Acutally its a no name strap. Got it from an Instagram friend called watchesgothenburg.
