    Hi All,

I have an unusual issue with my Pilot Performance Chronograph which I'm curious if anyone else has had the same issue. When running the chronograph, the minute counter will sometimes get stuck at a random point - ie it won't tick over from 4 to 5 minutes after the second counter reaches 12 o'clock and enters the next minute. Everything else works, but a chronograph isn't much good without a minute counter!

The boutique team told me it was just a low power issue, which clearly isn't the case.
Wondering if anyone else has found anything similar with their watch, or any other chronograph?

Yes, I had an older Valjoux--based IWC chronograph once have a similar issue. The second and hour counters worked fine, but the chronograph minute counter got stuck, randomly, at certain positions. It really liked to get stuck at the 6-8 minute mark. I sent it in and was told all it was a simple adjustment by a watchmaker. It was something to do with a tension spring, I believe, but I forgot the details.

But it should be easily corrected for you, under warranty. I suggest you return it to your AD for a warranty service because, as you said, this is not a functioning chronograph..
